"Dead flies putrefy the perfumer's ointment,
And cause it to give off a foul odor;
So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor
."
Eccl 10:1
Think about that in the wake of your life for awhile, perhaps I'll post a thought or two later on it, but I don't know, that's pretty clear!!

As the year gone by draws to a close, & a new year dawns on the horizon, what shall I say? It's a time of thinking over the year gone by, the hopes, the hurts, the fears, the failures, but most of all God's faithfulness... he has been so faithful to each and every one of us. what can I say, the ministry is still moving forward, visions of a new project, a new member soon to be added to my family, it's interesting to speculate what new things the new year holds in store, but thank god that regarding new things the reality that we walk in is this: "...if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."2 Cor 5:17
& may we walk in the hope (that is, the assured expectation, the gauranteed certainty) of this concrete  actuality:
"
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."  Then He who sat on the throne said,"Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." Rev 21:1-5

Remember to set your minds on things above, & Though my posts are few and far between, may god bless you all!

Slowly but surely I'll figure this stuff out, like how to put images in & stuff.

The other day I was thinking about how the Pharaoh had all the newborn sons of Israel murdered about the time Moses was born. & As I rifled through the various plagues that Egypt was subjected to in my mind, it hit me. What was plague #10? The death of all the 1st born in each house in Egypt, he had sown to the wind of killing the newborn sons of Israel, & reaped the whirlwind of having all the 1st born of the land of Egypt killed. Ultimately his sin found him out, how careful we need to be when we make decisions that seem to benefit us today considering what the harvest might be tommorrow!

2 verses come to mind:

"Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life." Prov 4:23

& Of course

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Gal 6:7
